The Utah Asthma Program offers a FREE quarterly continuing asthma education series for professionals on the first Tuesday of February, May, August and November from 12 - 1pm MDT. Participation is available via video-conference, telephone and web streaming. The purpose of the series is to keep healthcare professionals abreast of the latest information in asthma care and education.

CME Credits

Continuing Medical Education (CME) Courses
Enduring material format: An enduring material is a non-live CME activity that can take place at any time (learner-directed as opposed to provider-directed).

* CME credit is available: 1.5 hours for Nurses, 1 hour for Respiratory Therapists, and 1 hour for all others for the live presentations.

Attendance and Continuing Education Form should be competed at the end of each session and faxed to the Utah Asthma Program @ (801) 538-9495. Certificates will only be available to those who send in this form. Certificates will be sent electronically, unless a hard copy is requested.

There are two ways to participate

Option 1: Videoconferencing – Contact UTN Videoconferencing Coordinator

Option 2: UTN Live Webstreaming

Open http://codian.utahtelehealth.net/
Enter the Recording ID 109 & leave the PIN blank.
Select your preferred video player and bandwidth.
Click "Stream this Recording".
If the video screen remains blank, click the link to download the necessary software to view the stream. This software is downloaded directly from the server and has been verified as safe. If you are unable to install this software, contact your computer support person.
Click Run and follow the on-screen directions to install this software. Close Internet Explorer and begin this procedure from the beginning. You need not reboot your machine.
