The ITS 'behind the scenes" teams that keeps the network running include:

• ITS Network Team works closely with staff on network design and installation of new sites and applications, including the addition of security features. The Network Team monitors UTN's telecommunications lines and network equipment on a 24/7 basis to ensure reliability and security.
  
  
• UUHSC Information Security Office is the resource for security, confidentiality, and privacy. The ISO works with the Network Team to create a secure environment through the use of firewalls and Virtual Private Networks (VPNs). They also develop policies and procedures to comply with HIPAA regulations.
  
  
• ITS Server Team maintains the network's email accounts.
  
  
• Web Resource Center has been key to the development of our web site as a functioning resource for network members and partners.
