Testing and Troubleshooting

Call the Network Operations Coordinator at the Utah Telehealth bridge at 1-801-585-2426 or 1-866-525-5622.

What is the Bridge?

Videoconferencing is like a videophone where people see and hear each other from a distance.

It can be used in two ways:

  • Point-to-point (communication between two sites only)
  • Multiple sites - Three or more sites requires use of the Utah Telehealth Network's bridge.

Each videoconferencing site must be registered and tested with the bridge. It is important that each participant at every location have a publicly accessible IP address that does not change. Contact your local network team to obtain a “static” or “reserved DHCP” IP address.

Polycom Meeting Etiquette

    • Mute your system when you are finished
    • Remember that you are on camera and all participants can see you when you are speaking
    • Look into the camera when talking
